I have had a record player for over five years. Every time I open or close the lid of the record player, it creaks. Plastic and metal rub against each other in the hinges, it’s a very unpleasant noise. Today I put a drop of oil on the screws in the hinges and the lid opens noiselessly. This is how I solve problems in my life.
