As if there weren’t enough problems already, the Nazis are marching today as well. Half the city is on its feet and protesting. The police have completely cordoned off Bahnhofstraße. On Hansering, a few rubbish containers are pushed onto the street and a sit-in blockade is formed. After a few minutes it becomes clear that the demonstration will not get that far. The people get up again and walk to the Europakreuzung. The square is fairly full of people, at least this is the end of the day for the Nazis. The atmosphere is relaxed. People are chatting. I even see a minister, but on the footpath. Order must be maintained. The driver of the water cannon wears a mask.

At least everyone is getting some fresh air and the city centre is nicely traffic-calmed. Only the noise from the helicopter is a bit annoying.
